🏢 Overview

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has been conducting the Combined Entrance Test (ECAT) since 1999 under the directions of the Government of Punjab.

• This test is mandatory for admission to:

  • Public & private engineering institutions in Punjab

• Required as per Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)

• Applicable for:

  • B.Sc. Engineering Programs

  • Computing & other disciplines

👉 The best score (from multiple attempts) will be considered for admission.

• ✔ Valid for Fall 2026 admissions

• ✔ No negative marking

• ✔ No minimum passing marks

• ✔ Test is computer-based

📍 Orientation Session

• Date: Saturday, 28 March 2026

• Duration: 15 minutes

• Purpose: Familiarize students with computer-based test

• However, appearing in test does not guarantee admission
