4. Eligibility Criteria

General:

• Candidates must have completed HSSC or will complete HSSC Part II in the 1st annual exam of 2026.

Program-Specific Requirements:

• Engineering: HSSC with (Maths, Physics, and Computer Science/Chemistry) / Equivalent or (Pre-medical with condensed Maths).

• Computer Science / Mathematics: HSSC with Maths / Equivalent or (Physics, Chemistry, Biology for Computer Science).

• Physics: HSSC with Physics.

• DAE Holders: Relevant technology diploma holders are eligible.

Minimum Marks:

• Engineering Programs: 60%

• Non-Engineering Programs: 50%

Entry Test:

• Required for: Engineering & Computer Science (TCAT/ECAT or equivalent).

• Not required for: Mathematics & Physics.

Domicile / Basis of Admission:

• Open Merit (Engineering & CS): Punjab/ICT domicile required.

• Partial Subsidized Seats (S category) & Overseas Pakistanis Children Seats (X category): Available on an all-Pakistan basis for Engineering Programs & CS.

• Mathematics & Physics Programs: Open to applicants from all over Pakistan.

• 50% — HSSC Part I (or equivalent)

• 33% — TCAT/ECAT

• 17% — HSSC Part II (or equivalent – likely for those who have appeared in exams)

• Applicants applying after TCAT/ECAT-II will be considered subject to seat availability and revised merit.
