• 32 Credit Hours Coursework

Eligibility for Master Programs

• 16 years of education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in relevant discipline.

• Minimum 50% marks in GRE General or International/GAT (General) conducted by UET Peshawar.

• Engineering applicants must have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

Specific Eligibility Highlights

• Computer Science: BS (CS/SE/IT), BCS (with additional semester), MCS/M.Sc. (CS), or B.Sc. Engineering.

• Mechatronics Engineering: B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Industrial, Computer Engineering, etc.

• Renewable Energy Engineering: B.Sc. in Energy, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Agricultural, or related engineering fields.

• Mathematics (M.Phil.): M.Sc. Mathematics (16 years) or BS Mathematics (4 years) with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 2.5/4.0.

• Energy Management & Sustainability: Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Social Sciences graduates (relevant fields).

Eligibility for Ph.D. Programs

• Master/M.Phil. (or equivalent) in relevant field

• Minimum CGPA 3.00/4.00 or 3.75/5.00 or First Division (Annual System)

• GRE General or International/GAT (General) conducted by UET Peshawar with minimum 60% marks

• Candidates with lower CGPA may apply subject to additional requirements as per Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Graduate Education Policy 2023

Admission Test Requirements

Candidates must apply online for UET GAT (General) Test for M.Sc./M.Phil./Ph.D. at:
www.enggentrancetest.pk

After qualifying, candidates must apply online for admission at:
admission.uetpeshawar.edu.pk

Merit Criteria (M.Sc./M.Phil.)

• 50% weightage: Bachelor’s degree

• 50% weightage: GAT Test

Ph.D. candidates (minimum 60% in GAT) must upload a research proposal via the online portal.
