Shifa College of Nursing has announced admissions for its postgraduate and undergraduate nursing programs for the Spring 2027 session. Below are the detailed requirements, eligibility criteria, and schedules.

1. PhD in Nursing Program

Designed for advanced research and clinical leadership.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent (e.g., Nurse Practitioner for foreign students).

  • Academic Standing: Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (Semester System) or 1st Division (Annual System) from HEC/PNC recognized institutes.

  • Prerequisites: Must have completed courses in Nursing Theories and Biostatistics during MSN.

  • Language Proficiency: IELTS Academic score of 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in any component).

  • Assessment: Must pass the College Entry Test and Interview.

• Application Requirements:

  • Completed online application and Statement of Interest.

  • Proposed research project description (up to 2000 words).

  • Attested degrees, 18-year education equivalence from HEC, and valid PNC registration.

  • NOC from employer and two professional references.

• Important Dates:

  • Admissions Close: Friday, 13th November 2026.

  • Entrance Test: Saturday, 21st November 2026 (09:00 AM).

  • Classes Begin: Monday, 18th January 2027.

2. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Duration: 02 Years | Specialties: Critical Care, Education, Leadership & Management.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Option A: 03 Years General Nursing Diploma + 01 Year Midwifery/Specialty Diploma + 02 Years Post-RN BSN.

  • Option B: 04 Years Generic BSN Degree.

  • Experience: 02 years of Clinical Experience.

  • Registration: Valid PNC registration for all qualifications.

  • Assessment: Passing Entry Test and Interview.

• Important Dates:

  • Admissions Close: Friday, 29th May 2026.

  • Entrance Test: Saturday, 12th June 2026 (09:00 AM).

  • Classes Begin: Tuesday, 29th December 2026.

3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Duration: 04 Years (Generic) / Post-RN options available.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Generic BSN: Matric with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology as compulsory subjects) per HEC requirements.

  • Post-RN BSN: Diploma in General Nursing + Diploma in Midwifery/Specialty + 01 year clinical experience.

  • Registration: Valid PNC registration.

  • Assessment: Passing Entry Test and Interview.

• Important Dates:

  • Admissions Open: Tuesday, 4th August 2026.

  • Entrance Test: Saturday, 17th October 2026.

• Processing Fees:

  • MSN & BSN: Rs. 5,300/-

  • PhD: Rs. 7,500/-

  • Payable at any branch of HBL.

• Submission: Send the paid fee voucher and attested copies of all required documents to the Student Affairs Office before the respective deadlines.
