📢 Admissions Open – Spring 2027 Session

Applications are invited for admission into various Nursing Programs offered by Shifa College of Nursing (SCN). These programs are designed to prepare competent nursing professionals with strong academic, clinical, and research capabilities.

🎓 Programs Offered

1. PhD in Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

• MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 (semester system) or 1st Division (annual system)
• Degree must be recognized by HEC & PNC
• Must have studied:
  • Nursing Theories
  • Biostatistics
• IELTS (Academic): Minimum 6.5 (no band less than 6)
• Must pass Entry Test & Interview

Application Requirements

• Completed online application form
• Statement of Interest
• Research Proposal (up to 2000 words)
• Attested academic/professional documents
• HEC equivalence certificate (18 years education)
• Valid PNC registration (or equivalent for foreign candidates)
• Two references (academic & professional)
• NOC from employer

• Admissions Open: Mid-August 2026
• Admissions Close: 13 November 2026
• Entry Test: 21 November 2026 (09:00 AM)
• Classes Start: 18 January 2027

2. MSN (Master of Science in Nursing)

⏳ Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility Pathways

Option 1:

• 3-Year General Nursing Diploma
• 1-Year Midwifery/Post Basic Specialty Diploma
• 2-Year Post-RN BSN
• Pakistan Studies & Islamiat/Ethics at Bachelor level

OR

Option 2:

• 4-Year Generic BSN Degree
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience

Additional Requirements

• Valid PNC registration
• Pass Entry Test & Interview

• Entry Test: June 2026 (09:00 AM)
• Classes Start: 29 December 2026

3. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

⏳ Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility Criteria

• Matric (Science) with:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
• Diploma in General Nursing
• Diploma in Midwifery or other specialty
• Minimum 1-year clinical experience
• Valid PNC registration
• Pass Entry Test & Interview

💰 Application Fee

• MSN / BSN: Rs. 5,300/-
• PhD: Rs. 7,500/-
• Fee to be deposited at any branch of Habib Bank Limited (HBL)
