Admission Notice: Postgraduate Courses (Session July 2026)

Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to various Postgraduate Degree, Diploma, and FCPS-II residency training programs at SMBBMU, Larkana for the July 2026 Session. This opportunity is open to both In-Service and Private candidates who possess a valid domicile of the Sindh Province.

• Eligibility Domicile: Sindh Province Only (Candidates from other provinces are not eligible).

• Hostel Facility: Bachelor accommodation will not be provided by the university.

• Selection Criteria: Purely merit-based, determined via an entry test and subsequent interviews relative to the available seats. No separate interview call letters will be dispatched.

## Core Eligibility Criteria

• Basic Qualification: MBBS / BDS degree from a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).

• PM&DC Registration: Must possess a valid, up-to-date PM&DC permanent registration certificate.

• House Job: Completion of a mandatory one-year foundation House Job in a recognized teaching institution, including at least six months of training in the respective specialty where applicable.

## Application Submission Procedure & Rules

1. Procurement of Forms: The official application form can be downloaded from the university portal: www.smbbmu.edu.pk after generating and paying the respective challan at The Sindh Bank.

2. Submission Guidelines: Candidates must submit the original paid challan receipt, the fully filled application form, and two (02) complete sets of attested photocopies of all supporting academic/professional documents according to the checklist.

3. Submission Address: Send directly to the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, SMBBMU, located at CMC, Larkana.

4. In-Service Government Servants: Applicants working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must apply strictly through the proper channel. Applications not routed properly will be rejected. However, an Advance Copy may be sent directly with all relevant documents to secure a timeline buffer.

5. Testing Protocols: Entry tests will be conducted for programs where the volume of applications exceeds the available structural seat quota. Test locations and timings will be printed on the issued Admit Cards.

6. Important Disclaimers:

   • Only candidates passing the written entry test will qualify for interviews.

   • The final selection list finalized by the Postgraduate Selection Committee is absolute.

   • All application fees and entry test charges are non-refundable.

   • Any tampering, forgery, or misrepresentation of documents will lead to immediate cancellation of admission and strict legal/criminal action.
