Eligibility Criteria (Description)

For MD / MS / Diploma / FCPS-II Courses

  • MBBS degree from a PM&DC-recognized university.

  • Valid PM&DC registration certificate.

  • One-year house job in a recognized teaching institute.

For PhD / M.Phil.

  • MS, M.Phil., or equivalent in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Equivalence certificate from HEC (if applicable).

For MS Nursing (MSN)

For FCPS-II Paediatric Ophthalmology

  • Candidates must have passed FCPS-II in Ophthalmology.

For MSPH

Note: Diploma in Cardiology training will be at SICVD, Karachi.

All fees are non-refundable.

Application Procedure (Description)

  1. Download the admission form from the official website: www.smbbmu.edu.pk.

  2. Deposit the challan in Sindh Bank as per fee schedule.

  3. Submit:

    • Completed application form

    • Two sets of attested documents (as per checklist)

    • Challan receipt

    • Required certificates

    • Either in person or by courier to:
      Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, SMBBMU, CMC, Larkana.

  4. Applications must reach before the closing date; late submissions will not be accepted.

General Instructions

  • No separate call letters will be issued for entry test or interviews.

  • Venue and timing for entry tests will be communicated via admit cards.

  • Only qualified candidates in the written test will be called for interviews.

  • Selection will be made purely on merit, subject to availability of seats.

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.

  • The Postgraduate Directorate reserves the right to modify the schedule or course list due to unavoidable circumstances.

  • Candidates employed in government/semi-government/autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel.

  • The rules and regulations of CPSP will apply to FCPS-II candidates.

  • Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are under process of recognition.
