Combined Entrance Test 2026 (Second)

Mandatory for Admission in Public/Private Engineering Institutions of Punjab

As per the Government of Punjab and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) directives, UET Lahore is conducting the second and final Entrance Test for 2026. This test is required for B.Sc. Engineering, Computing, and other undergraduate disciplines for the Fall 2026 session.

Test Overview & Policy

• Best Score Wins: If a candidate appeared in ECAT-1, the best score between ECAT 1 and 2 will be used for merit determination.

• No Threshold: There is no minimum passing marks requirement.

• No Negative Marking: Marks will not be deducted for incorrect answers.

• Test Format: Computer-based test of 100 minutes duration.

  • 90 Questions: Divided equally among three core subjects.

  • 10 Questions: English language.

  • Total: Each correct answer is worth 4 points.

Subject Combinations

Candidates must choose a combination based on their Intermediate (or equivalent) background:

1. Math, Physics, Chemistry, English

2. Math, Physics, Computer Science, English

3. Math, Statistics, Computer Science, English

4. Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English

5. Math, Statistics, Physics, English Note: DAE candidates are restricted to combinations 1 or 2.

How to Apply

1. Generate Challan: Visit and generate a challan of Rs. 3,000/-.

2. Payment Methods:

   • HBL: Via Online Banking or Konnect.

   • UBL: Via Mobile App, UBL Omni, or any physical UBL Branch.

3. Form Submission: After payment, log in to the portal to fill out the application and select your test center preference.

4. Admit Card: Download and print your card on June 10, 2026.

The test will be conducted at the following locations:

• UET Main Campus (Lahore), Faisalabad Campus, and Narowal Campus.

• BZU Multan & NFC Multan.

• Islamia University Bahawalpur (Baghdad-Ul-Jadeed Campus).

• Rachna College of Engineering (Gujranwala).

• KFUEIT Rahim Yar Khan.

• UET Taxila & University of Gujrat.

Mandatory Identification

Candidates must bring one of the following Photo-ID documents to the center:

• CNIC / NICOP / Juvenile Card / NADRA Form-B (with photo).

• Original Matric/Intermediate Certificate with photo.

• Passport or Statement of Entry (for A-Level students).

• Computerized Domicile with photo.
