Provincial Health Services Academy

Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – Peshawar

The Provincial Health Services Academy (PHSA), working under the Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to Two-Year Paramedical Diploma Programs for the Spring Session 2026–2028.

Admissions are offered in Morning and Evening (Self-Finance) shifts at various paramedical institutes across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Candidates must submit applications on the prescribed form.

Prospectus and Application Form

The Prospectus, Application Form, and Bank Challan (Processing Fee: Rs. 500) can be obtained through the following methods:

Participating Institutes & Catchment Areas

1. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Post Graduate Paramedical Institute (ZAB PGPI) – Peshawar

Catchment Areas:
Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Khyber, Mohmand, Orakzai, and Kurram.

2. Paramedical Institute of Medical Technologies Swat (PIMT) – Swat

Catchment Areas:
Swat, Shangla, Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Upper Chitral, Lower Chitral, Bunir, Bajaur, and Malakand.

3. Paramedical Institute of Medical Technologies Abbottabad (PIMT) – Abbottabad

Catchment Areas:
Abbottabad, Haripur, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Kolai Palas, Batagram, Mansehra, and Torghar.

4. Paramedical Institute of Medical Technologies D.I. Khan (PIMT) – Dera Ismail Khan

Catchment Areas:
D.I. Khan, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, South Waziristan, and North Waziristan.

Eligibility Criteria

Domicile

Applicants must possess domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including merged districts.

Age Limit

• Fresh Candidates: Maximum 30 years

• Regular In-Service Candidates: Maximum 45 years

Educational Qualification

• Matriculation (Science) with minimum 50% marks.

• Biology must be a compulsory subject.

For In-Service Candidates:

• A Medical Faculty certificate in the relevant field is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications

• Hafiz-e-Quran:
  20 additional marks will be added to SSC marks upon submission of a certificate issued by Wafaq ul Madaris.

• F.Sc (Pre-Medical):
  Candidates with minimum 50% marks will receive 10% additional weightage in the admission merit.

Important Instructions

• Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the interview.

• Personal presence of the candidate is mandatory during the interview.

• Candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled date and time will lose their right to admission.

• Interview dates will not be rescheduled for any reason.

Required Documents for Interview

Candidates must bring original documents, including:

• Educational certificates

• CNIC or Form-B

• Domicile certificate

• Any additional qualification certificates

Additional Guidelines

• No separate call letters or messages will be sent to shortlisted candidates.

• Applicants are advised to regularly check the official websites for updates.

• Selected candidates must deposit the admission fee within three days after the merit list is displayed.

• In-service candidates must apply through the proper official channel while also sending an advance copy to the concerned institute.

• Candidates must submit an affidavit on stamp paper confirming compliance with the admission rules (format available in the prospectus).

• Any changes in the interview schedule will only be announced on the official website.
