The Provincial Health Services Academy (PHSA), under the Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to Two-Year Paramedical Diploma Programs for the Spring Session 2026–2028.

Admissions are offered in Morning and Evening (Self-Finance) shifts at various affiliated institutes across the province. Interested candidates must apply on the prescribed application form available online or from the relevant institute according to the catchment area.

Prospectus and Application Form

The Prospectus and Application Form along with the processing fee challan of Rs. 500 can be obtained through the following methods:

• Obtain directly from the relevant institute according to the candidate’s district catchment area.

1. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Post Graduate Paramedical Institute (ZAB PGPI), Peshawar

This institute accepts candidates from the following districts:

2. Paramedical Institute of Medical Technologies (PIMT), Swat

Candidates from the following districts can apply:

3. Paramedical Institute of Medical Technologies (PIMT), Abbottabad

This institute serves candidates from:

• Abbottabad

• Haripur

• Upper Kohistan

• Lower Kohistan

• Kolai Palas

• Batagram

• Mansehra

• Torghar

4. Paramedical Institute of Medical Technologies (PIMT), Dera Ismail Khan

Candidates from the following districts are eligible:

• Dera Ismail Khan

• Bannu

• Lakki Marwat

• Tank

• South Waziristan

• North Waziristan

Eligibility Criteria

Domicile

Applicants must possess domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the merged districts (former FATA).

Age Limit

• Fresh Candidates: Maximum age 30 years

• Regular In-Service Candidates: Maximum age 45 years

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have:

• Matriculation (Science Group) with at least 50% marks

• Biology as a compulsory subject

For In-Service Candidates

• A Medical Faculty certificate in the relevant field is mandatory.

Additional Qualification Weightage

• Hafiz-e-Quran:

  • 20 additional marks will be added to SSC marks upon submission of a certificate from Wafaq-ul-Madaris.

• F.Sc (Pre-Medical):

  • Candidates with at least 50% marks will receive 10% additional weightage.

Important Instructions

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews at the concerned institutes.

• Physical presence of the candidate is mandatory at the time of the interview.

• Candidates failing to appear on the scheduled date and time will lose their admission opportunity, and interviews will not be rescheduled.

• Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.

• No separate call letter or message will be sent to candidates. Applicants must regularly visit the official websites for updates.

• Selected candidates must deposit the admission fee within three days after the display of the final selection list.

• In-service candidates must apply through proper channel and send an advance copy to the concerned institute.

• The decision of the Admission Committee will be final.

• Selected students must submit an affidavit on stamp paper confirming compliance with institutional rules (format available in the prospectus).

• If the interview schedule changes, the update will be announced only on the official website.
