ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT — MBBS (Session 2025–26)

Under the Category of IEAP Local & Overseas Pakistanis

Eligibility Criteria for IEAP (Overseas Pakistanis)

1. Academic Qualification

   • HSSC or equivalent qualification from an institution outside Pakistan, duly certified by IBCC, with minimum 60% marks.

2. Entry Test Requirement
   As per PM&DC regulations, candidates must fulfill one of the following:

   • MDCAT with at least 55% marks for MBBS (50% for BDS)
     OR

   • SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Math)
     OR

   • Foreign MCAT Examination
     OR

   • UCAT Examination with at least 50% marks in required subjects.

3. Additional Requirements

   • Candidate must have completed Intermediate or equivalent inside/outside Pakistan.

   • Equivalence certificates must be issued by IBCC.

   • Must be an Overseas Pakistani, i.e.:
     Pakistani Citizen permanently residing abroad, Green Card Holder, Iqama Holder, Maple Card Holder, or holding NICOP.

• Transcript/Marks Sheet of 10th Grade / O-Level

• IBCC Equivalence Certificate of 10th Grade/O-Level

• Transcript/Marks Sheet of 12th Grade / A-Level

• IBCC Equivalence Certificate of A-Level (Pre-Medical)

• NICOP of Candidate and Father

• Passport & Valid Visa of Candidate

• MDCAT-2025 / Retake-2024 / SAT-II / MCAT / UCAT Result Certificate

• Six (06) passport-size photographs

• Online processing fee receipt of USD 11742/-

Eligibility Criteria for IEAP Local (Self-Finance)

1. Domicile Requirement

   • Applicants must hold the domicile of tagged districts (list provided below).

2. Academic Qualification

   • Intermediate/HSSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.

3. Entry Test Requirement

   • MDCAT 2024 (Retake) or MDCAT 2025 with minimum 55% marks.

Important Instructions

• Application Form and Challan Form are available on the website: www.gims.edu.pk

• After paying the challan at MCB Bank, send:

  • Original Bank Receipt

  • Completed Application Form

  • All Required Documents
    to the Directorate of Admissions, Gambat Medical College, Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gambat, via any courier service.

• By-hand submissions will NOT be accepted.

• Applications received after the deadline will not be entertained.

• Candidates with objections regarding MDCAT 2024 (Retake) or MDCAT 2025 must resolve them through IBA Sukkur before the closing date.

• The courier envelope and file cover must be clearly marked:
  “MBBS CATEGORY (Self Finance or Overseas Pakistanis)”

• HSSC/A-Level or Equivalent Marks Sheet

• MDCAT Marks Certificate (2024 Retake or 2025)

• Proof of Application to Admitting University

• Domicile of Candidate

• PRC Form “C”

• Domicile of Father

• CNIC/B-Form of Candidate

• CNIC of Father

• Father’s Death Certificate (if applicable)

Fees

• Processing Fee (Non-refundable): Rs. 2,000/- (Original College Copy)

• Photocopy of DD/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 100,000/- for IEAP (in the name of “Director PAQSJIMS, Gambat”)

  • Remaining amount for IEAP Local categories will be charged after admission confirmation.
