Admissions are available on a Fellowship and/or Regular Fee Basis.

Eligibility for MS/MPhil:

Academic: 1st Class academic career preferred. One 2nd division ($50\%$ marks) allowed except in the final degree. For semester systems, a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 is required.
Final Year Students: Those completing degrees by November 30, 2026, are eligible to apply.
Age Limit (as of June 30, 2026):
- Regular Fee: No age limit.
- Fellowships: Max 32 years (MBBS Doctors) or 27 years (All other disciplines).

3. PhD Programs (15 Disciplines)

Available in fields including Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, various Engineering branches, Nuclear Medicine, and Laser & Semiconductor Physics (NILOP-C).

Graduate Assistantships: Selected PhD scholars may receive Rs. 65,000/- per month in exchange for serving as TA/RA/Lab Engineers (9 contact hours/semester).

4. Fellowships & Scholarships

PAEC Fellowships (For MS/MSc)

Offered by the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and other government departments:

Stipend: Rs. 56,100/- per month.
Benefits: Full tuition fee waiver and free indoor medical treatment.
Bond: Recipients must pledge to serve PAEC or Govt. departments for 5 years after graduation.
Career: Induction in SPS-8 upon completion with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0.

Other Financial Support

IT Endowment Fund: Monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000 (MS) or Rs. 35,000 (PhD) for Computer Science, Cyber Security, and AI.
International Students: Jabar Bin Hayan and Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship programs.
Need-Based: Financial support is provided to 25% of the student body.

6. How to Apply

Online Portal: Apply exclusively via admissions.pieas.edu.pk. Hard copies are not accepted.
Application Fee: * Rs. 3,500/- within the due date.
- Rs. 4,000/- within one week after the due date.
Selection: Based on PIEAS Admission Test and Interview. Fellowship candidates must also pass a Psychological Test.
