ADMISSION NOTICE FOR MS NURSING SESSION 2025-27

COLLEGE OF NURSING, NISHTAR MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, MULTAN

Applications are invited for the admission in Master in Nursing (MSN) Program for the Session 2025-27 in the College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan.

Eligibility Criteria:

Category-1:

10 years' schooling (Matric)

03 years' General Nursing Diploma, registered with PNC

01 year Midwifery Diploma or any other Post Basic Specialty Diploma, registered with PNC

01 year experience as RN for admission in Post RN BSN Degree

02 years Post RN BSN Degree Program as specified by HEC (Notification #8(61)/A & A/2018/HEC/5799, dated 26.04.2018) and registered with PNC

01 year experience as RN

Category-II:

12 years schooling (Matric + FSc Pre-Medical)

04 years Generic BSN Nursing Degree, Registered with PNC

01 year Internship (bedside care)

01 year experience as RN, excluding the 01 year Internship, for admission in MSN Degree.

Last Date for Submission: 10.10.2025, COB (Close of Business)

Only candidates with Domicile of Punjab Province are eligible for admission.

A Bank Draft of Rs.1500/- (Non-Refundable) in favor of the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University, Multan, must be submitted along with the application as the form and processing fee.

A separate Bank Draft of Rs. 3000/- must be submitted as the Entry Test Fee to the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University, Multan.

Send the filled admission form along with all attested documents to the office of the Principal, College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan, by post or by hand before 10.10.2025 during working hours.

Late and incomplete applications will not be entertained.

After document scrutiny, eligible candidates will be called to appear in the Entry Test.

Admittance Cards for the Entry Test will be available at the College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical University, Multan, and also on the official NMU website: www.nmu.edu.pk

Entry Test is mandatory and will be held on 18.10.2025.

Entry Test Details:

Field Knowledge: 60 Marks

English: 30 Marks

Biostatistics & Analytical: 10 Marks
Total Marks: 100
Pass Marks: 50

Additional Information:

Govt. Employees (Regular) must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Head of their institution along with the application.

Govt. employees will be allowed to join the training only after obtaining the NOC from the competent authority.

Admission will be granted based on open merit only.

Nishtar Medical University reserves the right to cancel the admission process at any stage.

Candidates who have already availed placement in the last three years (as per government rules) will not be allowed to join the program. If found, their admission will be canceled at any stage.
