ADMISSION NOTICE – POST BASIC CARDIAC NURSING DIPLOMA (SESSION 2025–26)

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi invites applications from eligible and dedicated nursing professionals for admission to the Post Basic Cardiac Nursing Diploma (Session 2025–26). This specialized one-year program aims to enhance the clinical competence and professional skills of nurses in the field of cardiac care, enabling them to deliver quality patient services in cardiovascular healthcare settings.

Program Details

• Program Title: Post Basic Cardiac Nursing Diploma

• Duration: One (01) Year

• Session: 2025–2026

• Location: College of Nursing, NICVD, Karachi

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of submission of the application form:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Diploma in General Nursing verified by the Sindh Nurses Examination Board (SNEB).

2. Experience Requirement:

   • Minimum one year of clinical experience after completion of the General Nursing Diploma.

3. Registration:

   • Valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) registration is mandatory at the time of application submission.

4. Gender:

   • Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

5. Government Employees:

   • Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or other institutions must apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Application Procedure

1. Application Form Collection:

   • Prescribed admission forms can be obtained from the Nursing Education Department, NICVD, Karachi, by submitting a Pay Order of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) in favor of College of Nursing, NICVD, Karachi.

2. Form Availability Dates:

   • From 10th November 2025 to 17th November 2025 (during working hours).

3. Required Documents:
   Applicants must attach attested copies of the following documents with the application form:

   • CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)

   • Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) Registration Card

   • Academic Mark Sheets and Certificates

   • Diploma in General Nursing (Verified from SNEB)

   • Experience Certificate

   • Medical Fitness Certificate

   • Domicile and PRC (Permanent Residence Certificate)

4. Submission Address:
   Completed application forms along with all required documents must be submitted to:
   Nursing Education Department, NICVD, Rafiqui (H.J.) Shaheed Road, Karachi.

5. Important Note:

   • Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

   • The NICVD authorities reserve the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
