ADMISSION NOTICE

Leftover Foreign Self-Finance (Over & Above) Seats

Khyber Medical University (KMU), being the admitting university of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in Public Sector and Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against leftover Foreign Self-Finance (Over & Above) seats for the Session 2025–26.

Admissions shall be processed through the KMU Centralized Admission Portal for Public Sector Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfill all of the following conditions:

1. The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) / FSc (Pre-Medical) or 12th Grade or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks, from any recognized BISE in Pakistan or from an equivalent foreign board.

2. The candidate must have passed one of the following admission tests with the minimum required score:

   • MDCAT 2023, 2024, or 2025

   • UCAT or SAT

   • Minimum 55% marks for MBBS

   • Minimum 50% marks for BDS

3. The candidate must possess a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Merged Districts (MDs).

4. The candidate must be either:

   • A foreign national, or

   • An Overseas Pakistani permanently residing abroad, holding a valid Iqama, Residence Permit, Green Card, or Foreign Passport.

   The applicant must have completed 12th Grade or equivalent education, either within or outside Pakistan, and must provide documentary proof of residence.

   Additionally, the candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed under Section (7) of the PM&DC Undergraduate Medical and Dental Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy & Regulations 2025, including subsequent notifications such as Notification No. PF-1-C-PM&DC/Notification/2025/910 dated 31 October 2025.
