Admission Notice for Postgraduate Courses – Session January 2026
Applications are invited on the prescribed forms from in-service and private candidates holding a First FCPS (Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan – Part I) qualification for admission to Residency Training Programs (as listed below) at Khairpur Medical College Teaching Hospital, Khairpur Mirs for the January 2026 session.

Eligibility Criteria for FCPS-II Training

MBBS degree from a PMDC-recognized university listed in Schedule I or II of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act.

Valid registration certificate as a medical practitioner from PMDC.

One-year house job from a recognized teaching institution.

FCPS-I Passing Certificate from CPSP (College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan).

Sindh domicile holders are eligible to apply.

For Neurosurgery and Orthopedics, eligibility must be as per CPSP criteria.

General Instructions

The application form along with the challan form can be downloaded from the Khairpur Medical College website: www.khptikmc.edu.pk.

Submit the complete application along with the paid challan, checklist, and two attested sets of all required documents to the office of the Chairman, Postgraduate Section, Medical Unit, Khairpur Medical College Teaching Hospital, Khairpur Mirs.

The venue and timing of the entry test will be announced on the admit card.

Selection will be made strictly on merit based on available seats.

The decision of the Postgraduate Committee shall be final.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test.

The Postgraduate Section reserves the right to alter or modify any course in case of unavoidable circumstances.

Applicants employed in government, semi-government, or other universities must apply through proper channel; otherwise, their applications will not be considered. However, they may send advance photocopies of required documents.

The Postgraduate Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel any admission if necessary.
