1. Introduction

Applications are invited for 1st Year MBBS & BDS Programs for the Academic Session 2025–26 in all Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges/Universities of Sindh. Candidates from all over Pakistan and abroad are eligible to apply.

4. Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility

  1. Candidates from all provinces of Pakistan and overseas applicants may apply.

  2. Must have completed Intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical or equivalent (A-Level/12th Grade) certified by IBCC, with minimum 60% marks.

  3. Must have passed:

    • MDCAT 2024 (Re-take) or MDCAT 2025

    • Minimum 55% marks for MBBS

    • Minimum 50% marks for BDS

  4. Candidates applying for overseas/foreign seats must fulfill PM&DC guidelines.

5. Admission Procedure

a) Prospectus

  • Available on the website of each respective Medical/Dental College or University.

b) Online Application

  • Candidates must fill out the online application form at:
    admissions.smbbmu.edu.pk

c) Submission of Printed Form

  • After completing the online application, print the filled form.

  • Attach attested copies of all required documents for MBBS and BDS separately.

d) Document Arrangement

  • Documents must be properly arranged and submitted in a file labeled with:

    • Candidate’s Name

    • Father’s Name

    • Program (MBBS or BDS)

e) Submission Method

  • Submit all documents and the printed form to designated branches of Leopard Courier Service across Pakistan.

f) Processing Fee

  • Inside Pakistan: Rs. 4,000 (includes courier charges) per program (MBBS/BDS).

  • Outside Pakistan: Equivalent to USD 50 per program.

Fee Submission for Overseas Candidates:

  • Bank: Bank Al-Falah Limited, Larkana

  • Account Title: The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana VC (Admission Processing Fee)

  • Upload the payment receipt on the online admissions portal.

g) Preference Selection

  • Candidates must carefully select the order of preference for all Medical and/or Dental Colleges.

  • Once submitted, preferences cannot be changed under any circumstances.

6. Documents Required

Submit attested copies of the following:

  1. Matriculation Marks Sheet or equivalent (IBCC certified)

  2. Matriculation (Pacca) Certificate or equivalent (IBCC certified)

  3. Intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Marks Sheet or equivalent (IBCC certified)

  4. CNIC / B-Form / Juvenile Card / NICOP (as applicable)

  5. CNIC of Father/Mother (in case of father’s death or divorce, relevant documents required)

  6. MDCAT 2024 (Re-take) or MDCAT 2025 Result Card

7. Important Notes

  • If any document is found false, forged, or incorrect, the applicant will be immediately disqualified.

  • Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
