Affiliation Notice 2026–2027

162 Years of Excellence – Courage to Know

The Government College University Lahore has announced affiliation opportunities for the academic year 2026–2027. Public and private colleges or institutions located within Punjab Province can apply for affiliation for BS (4-Year) and Associate Degree Programs (ADP).

This opportunity allows institutions to become part of the 162-year academic legacy of GC University Lahore.

Eligibility for Affiliation

Applications are invited from:

1. Public and private colleges/institutions in Punjab seeking affiliation for BS (4-Year) and ADP programs.

2. Colleges already affiliated with GC University Lahore that want to apply for:

   • Affiliation in new academic programs

   • Continuation of existing affiliated BS programs

Institutions located in the Federal Territory may also apply, provided they obtain prior permission or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Higher Education Commission or the relevant government department.

Application Procedure

Interested colleges and institutions must:

1. Submit their application to the Office of the Registrar at GC University Lahore.

2. Pay a processing fee of Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable).

Important Instructions

• Applications that are incomplete or missing required documents will not be accepted.

• Colleges cannot advertise or enroll students in proposed programs without obtaining provisional affiliation from GC University Lahore.

• Institutions must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant accreditation body or council if the program requires professional accreditation.

• Public and private colleges must also obtain an NOC from the Directorate of Public Instruction (Colleges), Punjab before seeking affiliation.

• The university reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason, and the processing fee will not be refunded.
