Department of Law (Morning Program)

LL.B (4-Year) Semester Program
Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus, Karachi

Admissions are hereby announced for the LL.B (4-Year) Morning Semester Program at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus.

The program is recognized by:

• Pakistan Bar Council

• Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC)

Online admission forms will be available from:
Monday, 9th February 2026

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must have passed:

   • Intermediate (FA/FSc),

   • A-Level, or

   • Equivalent qualification

   With at least 50% marks.

2. Admission to the LL.B (4-Year) Morning Program is subject to qualifying the Law Admission Test (LAT).

   • The LAT is conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

   • Passing the LAT is mandatory for admission consideration.

Admission Procedure & Guidelines

1. Candidates seeking admission to the Department of Law must carefully read the Prospectus available on the university website before completing the online admission form.

2. After submitting the online admission form:

   • Download the processing fee voucher of Rs. 3000.

   • Deposit the fee in the designated bank mentioned on the voucher.

   • Only candidates who deposit the processing fee will be considered in the admission process.

3. Selection of candidates will be carried out:

   • According to the university’s approved admission policy,

   • In compliance with the rules of the Pakistan Bar Council, and

   • Under the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).

Merit Determination Criteria

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of:

• Law Admission Test (LAT): 500 marks

• Intermediate: 300 marks

• Matriculation: 200 marks

Admission will be granted strictly on merit.

Special Requirements

• Candidates employed in any government institution must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department.

• Applicants with qualifications from boards other than Pakistani public boards must submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

• Candidates must attach a copy of the LAT passing certificate with the admission form.

Submission of Documents (After Selection)

After the publication of the merit list on the university website notice board, selected candidates must submit the following documents to the Department of Law, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus:

Required Documents:

• Printed copy of the submitted online admission form

• Original paid processing fee voucher

• Two sets of copies of all transcripts and certificates

• Two copies of CNIC

• Four passport-size photographs (white background)

• Copy of LAT certificate

• Affidavit on stamp paper (as provided in the Prospectus)

Quota Information

A 5% quota is reserved in the Department of Law for the children of practicing lawyers.
