MBBS/BDS Session 2025–26**

The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), as the Admitting University for its Constituent, Affiliated, and Armed Forces Administered Medical & Dental Colleges, announces Centralized Admissions for First Year MBBS and BDS programs for the Session 2025–26.
Under PM&DC Admission Regulations, NUMS is responsible for conducting the centralized admission test and completing the admission process for all participating colleges.

3. Eligibility Criteria

A. Open Merit Seats

• Pakistani citizens (including AJK & GB) / Dual nationals / Overseas Pakistanis are eligible.

• NUMS MDCAT (MOCAT) 2025 is mandatory (Test date: 28 September 2025).

  • Required score:

    • MBBS: Minimum 55%

    • BDS: Minimum 50%

• Minimum 60% marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent (IBCC equivalence required for A-level/12th grade).

• Must have completed 12 years of education with:

  • Biology (mandatory)

  • Chemistry (mandatory)

  • Physics or Mathematics

B. Foreign Seat Eligibility

Candidates may apply on Foreign Seat if they are:

• Foreign Nationals

• Overseas Pakistanis

• Green Card holders

• Iqama / Maple Card holders

Academic Requirements:

• Completed HSSC/12th Grade in or outside Pakistan.

• Must submit a school-issued certificate confirming completion of 12-year education.

• Minimum 60% marks in HSSC/A-level or equivalent (IBCC equivalence required).

• Mandatory subjects:

  • Biology

  • Chemistry

  • One additional subject (Physics / Math / others allowed)

Entrance Test Requirement:

Choose one of the following:

• NUMS MOCAT 2025

  • MBBS: Minimum 55%

  • BDS: Minimum 50%

• OR valid MCAT (USA)

• OR valid UCAT (UK)
  (as per PM&DC Regulations)

4. Merit Calculation Formula

• NUMS Entrance Test: 50%

• HSSC/FSc/A-level (12th Grade): 40%

• SSC/Matric (10th Grade): 10%

6. Application Procedure

1. Visit the NUMS official website: www.numspak.edu.pk

2. Complete the online application form.

3. Upload all required documents in the prescribed format.

4. Pay the application fee (Regular or Late Fee).

5. Submit the form — No changes are allowed after submission.

7. Important Instructions

• Smart NIC (Form-B) is mandatory for candidates under 18 years.

• CNIC/NICOP/Passport is mandatory for candidates 18+.

• Candidates with foreign qualifications (A-level/12th grade) must upload IBCC equivalence, otherwise the application will be rejected.

• Only online applications are accepted — no hard copies.

• Incomplete applications will be rejected.

• Applications for HSSC/A-level improvement results are accepted until 19 December 2025 (requests must come from registered email).

• NUMS will grant admissions strictly as per merit and candidate preferences.

• Candidates applying as Paying Cadets must also apply on Open Merit via NUMS portal.
