Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab

Introduction

The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, invites applications for admissions in MBBS and BDS programs for the Session 2025–2026 in Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges across the Province of Punjab.

This admission process is being conducted under the regulations and supervision of UHS Lahore, ensuring merit-based and transparent selection.

Admission Schedule

All dates are tentative and subject to change as per UHS notifications.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have qualified the MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test) as per PM&DC guidelines.

• Minimum academic requirements as prescribed by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) must be met.

• Applicants must possess Punjab domicile (for seats reserved for Punjab residents).

• Foreign/overseas candidates can apply under the Foreign Quota (where applicable).

Application Procedure

1. Online Application:

   • Candidates must apply online through the official UHS Admission Portal:

2. Documents Required:
   Upload the following scanned documents:

   • Matric / O-Level Certificate (Science subjects)

   • F.Sc (Pre-Medical) / A-Level Equivalence Certificate

   • MDCAT Result Card

   • CNIC / B-Form

   • Domicile Certificate

   • Recent Passport Size Photograph

3. Merit Calculation:
   Merit will be determined according to UHS / PM&DC formula, considering:

   • F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent marks

   • MDCAT Score

   • Matric / O-Level Marks (where applicable)

4. Display of Merit Lists:

   • Provisional Merit List: 10–20 December 2025

   • Final Selection List: 24 December 2025

Commencement of Classes

• MBBS & BDS Classes will start from Monday, 2 February 2026.

• Orientation and academic sessions will begin in March 2026.

• Students must report to their respective colleges within the prescribed timeline; otherwise, the admission will be considered forfeited.

Important Notes

• Admission to Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges will be strictly merit-based and in accordance with PM&DC and UHS policies.

• Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.

• Any false or misleading information will lead to cancellation of admission.

• The University reserves the right to amend the schedule or policy as necessary.
