ADMISSIONS IN MBBS (OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS)

This is with reference to the admission advertisement published earlier in DAWN, JANG, and KAWISH newspapers on 30 November 2025 regarding admissions in MBBS (Overseas Pakistanis) at Gambat Medical College, Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gambat.

It is hereby notified that the last date for submission of application forms has been extended. Eligible candidates may now submit their applications up to 17 December 2025.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (IEAP – Overseas Pakistanis)

1. Candidates must have passed HSSC or an equivalent examination from an institution outside Pakistan, with at least 60% marks, duly certified by IBCC.

2. As per PM&DC regulations, candidates must fulfill one of the following requirements:

   • Passed MDCAT with at least 55% marks for admission in MBBS

   • OR passed SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics)

   • OR passed Foreign MCAT Examination

   • OR passed UCAT Examination with at least 50% marks in the required subjects

3. Candidates must have studied and passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination, either within or outside Pakistan, along with a valid IBCC Equivalence Certificate.

4. Eligible categories of Overseas Pakistanis include:

   • Pakistani citizens permanently residing abroad

   • Green Card holders

   • Iqama holders

   • Maple Card holders

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants must submit complete and attested copies of the following documents:

• Transcript / Marks Certificate of 10th Grade / O-Level

• IBCC Equivalence Certificate of 10th Grade / O-Level

• Transcript / Marks Certificate of 12th Grade / A-Level

• IBCC Equivalence Certificate of 12th Grade / A-Level (Pre-Medical)

• NICOP of the candidate and father

• Passport and valid visa of the candidate

• MDCAT-2025 / Retake-2024 / SAT-II / MCAT / UCAT result certificate

• Six (06) recent passport-size photographs

• Online processing fee receipt of US $117.42

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. The Application Form and Challan Form can be downloaded from the official website:
   www.gims.edu.pk

2. After depositing the challan at MCB Bank, candidates must send:

   • Original bank receipt

   • Duly filled application form

   • All required documents

   to the following address:

   Applications must be sent via courier service only.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

• By-hand submission will NOT be accepted.

• Incomplete applications or applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.

• Candidates are advised to ensure timely submission well before the deadline.
