The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has established the Overseas Pakistanis Education Fund (OPEF) to financially support the children and spouses of Overseas Pakistanis pursuing education in public or private institutions across Pakistan.
This initiative aims to promote educational opportunities for families of Overseas Pakistanis and ensure that financial constraints do not hinder their academic progress.
Under the OPEF initiative, scholarships will be awarded to eligible candidates enrolled in the following academic programs:
Intermediate or Equivalent Programs
Undergraduate / Graduation Programs, including:
MBBS
BDS
Bachelor of Engineering
Other Bachelor’s Degree Programs
Master’s / MS Programs (18 Years of Education)
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the OPEF scholarship:
Academic Performance
Minimum 60% marks or a CGPA of 2.5 in the last examination (SSC, HSSC, Graduation, or Master’s/MS).
Qualification must be from a recognized Board or HEC-recognized university.
Parent / Spouse Status
One parent (father or mother) or spouse (husband or wife) of the applicant must be a registered member of OPF.
Income Limit
The monthly income of the parent/spouse should be Rs. 200,000/- or less.
Other Scholarships
The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship during the same academic year.
Children of Deceased Overseas Pakistanis:
Eligible to apply if the parent was a registered OPF member and passed away within three (03) years prior to the closing date of this advertisement.
Spouses of Overseas Pakistanis:
Eligible subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria.
However, if any child of the same OPF member is already availing the OPEF scholarship, the spouse will not be eligible simultaneously.
