VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Ministry of Law and Justice and Office of the Attorney General for Pakistan intends to hire the services of professionals against the following posts on contract basis initially for a period of 03 years further to be extended as per MP Scale Policy, 2020 as amended from time-to-time:-

Minimum Qualification and Experience required
Foreign or Local LLB or Barrister-at-Law or Solicitor with at least five (05) years legal experience of working in Pakistan or abroad in public or private sector.

Foreign or local LLB or Barrister-at-Law with at least 3 years experience in public or private sector.
Professional credentials
1. Experience of drafting or reviewing of Conventions, Agreements, MOUS, Contracts and other Legal Documents. 2. Preferably having understanding of International Law and skills of rendering legal opinion on policy and regulatory matters and experience in legislative drafting.

2. Having understanding of International Law and skills of rendering legal opinions on policy and regulatory matters concerning International Law, preferably International Investment Law or Trade Law.
2. The candidates must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively at national and international fora. Commitment to professionalism, discipline, integrity, strong leadership skills and an ability to work effectively in a team.

5 Incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will not be entertained. Only candidates finalized by the Scrutiny Committee will be called for interview by the Selection Committee.
6 In case of selection, candidates working in Government Departments or Autonomous or Semi-autonomous bodies will have to Seek retirement/resignation before joining the post.
