HIRING OF LEGAL CONSULTANT
The Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) is an autonomous body working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce. The major functions of the organization are as under:
Administer and coordinate all Government systems for protection and strengthening of Intellectual Property (IP);
Manage all IP offices in the country:
Create awareness about IP Rights;
Advise the Federal Government on IP Policy;
Ensure effective enforcement of IP rights through designated IPR Enforcement Agencies (Police, FIA, and Pakistan Customs)

A degree in Law (LLB) OR LL.M in Intellectual Property Law from a renowned national or international university and Minimum of five (05) years' experience as a practicing lawyer preferably in the High Court.
01 year, extendable for a maximum of another 02 years on the basis of satisfactory performance.

All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes on or before 11:00 am within 15 days of advertisement. The bids shall be opened on 11:30 am after 15 days of advertisement in the presence of bidders/ representatives at the address given below. Bids received after the specified time shall not be accepted.

ii. IPO-Pakistan reserves the right to cancel the hiring process at any stage as per rules.
ii. Concealment of facts and any direct or in-direct pressure for hiring would lead to the disqualification of the candidates. If any candidate found ineligible, he/she will be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment process.
iv. This is a "Single Stage Two Envelop" procedure as per PPRA Rules. The envelope shall be prominently labeled with the "PROPOSAL FOR LEGAL CONSULTANT", written in a clear and legible manner."
v. On the basis of merit, only eligible and short listed candidates will provisionally be called for interview.
vi. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
