The Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) is a standardized test used in Pakistan to assess the academic and cognitive abilities of candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programs. The test is designed to evaluate the verbal, quantitative, and analytical skills of candidates.The GAT online test is an internet-based version of the exam that can be taken from anywhere with a stable internet connection. The test comprises three sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Reasoning.
The Verbal Reasoning section assesses candidates' abilities to analyze, evaluate, and draw conclusions based on written information. The Quantitative Reasoning section measures candidates' mathematical skills, including their abilities to interpret and analyze quantitative information. The Analytical Reasoning section evaluates candidates' logical reasoning skills and their abilities to draw conclusions based on complex relationships.
The GAT online test is a computer-based adaptive test, which means that the difficulty level of the questions adapts to the candidate's performance. The test duration is 2 hours and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The test score is valid for up to two years, and candidates can take the test multiple times to improve their scores.
