Instruction to fill the MCAT Application Form
While submitting the application form, the student should ensure
the following :-
- Avoid cutting and overwriting.
- Applicants applying for engineering disciplines should
enter the codes for the nine preferences of disciplines and
colleges in the order of priority.
- Applicants applying for medical sciences should enter the
codes for only two preferences i.e. MBBS and BDS in the order
of priority.
- Applicants applying on the basis of FSc in physics, maths
and computer science will be eligible for BE Computer Software
Engineering, BE Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering,
Avionics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and BE
Information & Communication System Engineering. Please
see paragraph two under ENTRANCE EXAMINATION.
- Write Matric and FSc Part-1 marks.
- Cross out blank columns on Application Forms.
- The code for the disciplines of the concerned college where
these are being offered be entered keeping in view the location
and convenience. Request for change of location/ college will
not be accepted at a later stage.
- Candidates seeking admission must submit neat and complete
application forms (enclosed with this prospectus) in duplicate
giving every detail, either in his/her own hand writing or
using a typewriter/PC.
- The candidates applying for undergraduate programmes must
attach two attested copies of each of the following:
- Matric / equivalent certificate along with marks sheet.
- Equivalence certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen
(IBCC), Islamabad in case of equivalent examinations.
- Intermediate / equivalent certificate along with marks
sheets if result declared at the time of application.
- Photocopy of marks sheet of FSc Part I (where applicable).
- Two passport size photographs each pasted on the forms
in the space provided).
- Address slips (available in the pocket of back cover) duly
filled.
- Candidates may attach SAT Reasoning Test or SAT Subject
Test score (where applicable) with the application, but it
would be acceptable only if original is received by NUST direct
from the College Board (for details see INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS'
section).
- Two NUST entrance test entry cards duly filled and pasted
with photographs (available with the application set).
Candidates submitting A/O level, 12 Grade or International Baccalaureate
certificates will also submit equivalence certificates obtained
from inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) alongwith the application
if possible. If their result is awaited at the time of application
they will be required to submit the equivalence certificate within
15 days of declaration of their result. The address of IBCC is
