MCAT General Guidelines
General Guidelines for MCAT are given below:
-
Students must have completed all their basic
science courses in a fully accredited medical college in
the United States before enrollment in advanced standing.
-
Because Baylor has an integrated preclinical
curriculum, applicants are considered for admission only
into the first clinical year.
-
A student who has been dismissed from or
has withdrawn from another medical college is not considered
for admission unless the medical school in which enrollment
originally occurred indicates in writing its willingness
for reconsideration.
-
Students who have taken all their premedical
or medical school work abroad are not considered for admission
in advanced standing.
-
Applicants from related professions such
as dentistry, or those who have completed the basic science
courses as a graduate student, are considered for admission
only to the first-year medical class, regardless of the
degree held.
