  2. 3 years teaching experience as Associate Professor provided that the total teaching experience as Assistant / Associate Professor is not less than 8 years OR 9 years teathmg experience as an Assistant Professor in the subject in recognised institution and atleast 5 research papers published in standard medical journal while working as Assistant / Associate Professor.

Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal and leaching experience in a recognized institution
  2. Five years teaching experience as Assistant Profess, in the subject in recognized institution and atleast 3 research papers published in standard medical journal while working as A.ssstAnt Professcr.
  3. If none available with above qualifications then:-
    • Post-Graduate Minor Diploma in the subject recognized by the PMDC/PMC and 3 years teaching experience as Demonstrator. Credit will be given for original research work published it ,,standard medical journal.
    • 07 years experience as Assistant Professor and atleast 05 research papers published in standard medical puma; whiie waking as Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor (BS-18) 15 General Surgery 01 25-45 (General Surgery 1 Medicine) or any other equivalent medical qualification years
  1. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC PIAC and the post-graduate qualification of FCPS 1 MS I MO 1 FRCS J MRCP/Diplomat American Board in the respective specialty recognized by the PMDCIPMC'
    OR
    MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the KM I PMC with FCPS 1 MS I FRCS 1 MRCP 1 Diplomat of American Board recognized by the PMOC I PMC with three year practical experience in respective specialty in a recognized institution after post•graduation"
  2. 3 years teachng or practical experience in the subject in a recognized institution before or after post graduation.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Application must be submitted in the prescribed applications Performa which can be obtained from the Principal, Gujranwala Medical College, Gujranwala.
  2. Attested copies of all certificates / documents / testimonials / experience certificates / valid CNIC and valid registration from PMDC/PMC be attached with the application form and must reach the office of the Principal, GMC, Gujranwala by 30-10-2021 till office working hours.
  3. One attested passport size photograph backside should be attached with the application form.
  4. The appointment will be made according to the Rules 22 of Punjab Civil Servant (Appointment & Conditions of Services) Rules, 1974 and strictly on merit basis.
  5. This appointment is non-transferable as per adhoc appointment policy of the Govt.
  6. Age relaxation across the board will be available for all vacancies as per Govt. policy.
  7. All applicants are directed to follow the COVID-19 SOPs at the time of interview.
  8. The competent Authority is authorized for any change of schedule and number of posts etc.
  9. The candidates must possess a domicile certificate of any district of the Province of Punjab and an attested copy of the same must be submitted with the application.
  10. Employees already serving should apply through proper channel (their respective departments I institutions) along with NOC.
  11. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be considered and they will be rejected without any intimation.
  12. All the candidates should bring their original academic certificates / experience certificates / domicile research papers and other relevant documents at the time of interview.
  13. No TA / DA will be given for the interview.
  14. Dismissed from service, removed from service, compulsory retired under the PEEDA Act, 2006, retired under the provisions of Section 12(1) of the PCS Act, 1974, retired on account of invalidation under Rule 3.3 of PCS Pension Rules or retired voluntarily will not be eligible.
