One of the largest and most prestigious commercial banks having a vast nationwide network of branches is looking for dynamic and challenge-oriented professional with proven record of accomplishments in the area of Inclusive Development for the position based at Karachi. The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Academic / Professional Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor's from a reputable HEC recognized University / Institute.
  • Candidate having Master's degree and / or any other professional certificate will be preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience including 05 years in a leadership role in Corporate / Commercial / SME banking.
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • Establish, develop and maintain Commercial & SME portfolio contributing to the overall client relationship strategy. Monitor progress towards its achievement within acceptable risk portfolio to protect Bank's interest and attain maximum revenue.
  • Review credit proposals generated from all regions and ensure quality assurance over certain thresholds or non-compliant with risk appetite before submission to Risk approval chain.
  • Extend support to National Business Heads for development & growth of commercial borrower's category by quality credit lending through generation of substantial markup and fee based income to the Bank.
  • To support National Business Heads for setting up annual Commercial and SME business targets for regions and ensure their achievement for performing and non-performing loans.
  • Close liaison with Credit Management Group for formal approval of credit request as per laid down policies and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of financial market developments, including new trends in growth and management, strategic financing planning techniques, rationalizing and making efficient provisioning of financial services to clients.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities to ensure opportunities for new businesses. Provide key input into competitor analysis to regional teams and developing strategy for business growth in Commercial / SME banking.
  • Identify and disseminate information to regional teams and alerts on trends, risks and opportunities to maximize earning.
  • Ensure highest professional standards of customer service with the support of National Business Heads to Bank's customers with an effort to secure new business and deepen existing business relationships.
  • Ensure compliance of banking laws, regulations / procedures instructions.
Assessment Interview (s) Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview (s).
Employment Type The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank's Policy / rules.
