It’s a common perception that it is very easy to get degree of
Allama Iqbal Open University. What do you say about it?
It’s not like that or it’s a wrong perception because Allama Iqbal
Open University enjoys a good status among Sixteen Mega Universities
of the World. This University is for distant education of Asia and
Africa. It came into being in 1975 and during 33 years of its life,
a considerable number of students got benefit of it. The number
if its registered students is four lak and eleven thousand according
to the statistics of Allama Iqbal Open University.
Its examination system is the same as other universities have. Perhaps
people have misunderstanding about assignments and consider them
the only way of getting marks white a student of Allama Iqbal Open
University has to obtain 40% marks for passing the exam. |

Please tell us about the system of assignments?
A student has to prepare assignments through consulting his own
resources and university’s given books and information. University
provides a tutor for student’s help, checking assignment and evaluation
of marks. A specific percentage of assignments are added in examination
marks. It is compulsory for students to pass in exam as well as
assignments separately. |

People have a doubt that Allama Iqbal Open University’s degree
value is not much?
It’s totally a wrong notion. This University offers 134 courses
from matric to Ph.D. Level. Its all degrees are approved by HEC.
Its course standard fulfills the demands of international level.
More than 41630 are its registered tutors till get. All teachers
are at least Masters Degree holder and having 5 year teaching experience.
Its degree is recognized all over the world. |

this slogan practically?
University uses each and every means which can be fruitful for the
students for example almost 132 programs on radio and 149 programs
on T.V are telecasted for the guidance about different courses.
We are trying our best to make possible people’s access to its regional
offices. Admission form are available on different photostat shops
of the city on very reasonable prices. Beside that university has
another credit as it has almost seven lak books in its personal
