US Consulate arranges a workshop at University of Management and Technology

US Consulate arranges a workshop at University of Management and Technology to memorialize OpenStreetMaps (OSM) Geography Awareness Week which is celebrated every 3^rd week of November. The principal of the university Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad, visited the workshop and also expressed his thankfulness for the initiative and also confirmed his resolve towards the promotion of Geographical Information Systems in University of Management and Technology. The skype sessions were organized along with the global OSM team in Washington, DC. The staff from legation met along with the pleasant surprise while visiting the book fair and declamation contest which was being corresponding together with the workshop.

He said that this event is actually a reflection of our flourishing relations along with the diplomatic corps for the promotion of UMT programs. This is the third event of the American Consulate in succession which has just been made possible because of the considerable support given by Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad.
