UHS Lahore to hold MCAT Entry Test 2014 on Aug 31

Lahore, The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore has announced the schedule of MCAT Test 2014 for admission to Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programs in public sector medical and dental institutions of Punjab under session 2014-15.

In this regard the entrance test will be organized on behalf of the Government of the Punjab on Sunday, August 31, 2014. The test will start at 09:00am simultaneously in different cities of Punjab province.

The MCAT test will be held in Bahawalpur , Multan, Rahim Yar Khan and D.G. Khan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Sialkot, Rawalpindi and Hassan Abdal.

According to rules and regulation of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) all the interested candidates must appear in the test to get admission to any public or private medical / dental college of the province.

"The entrance test application form can be submitted from August 04 to 09, 2014 from 9am to 2pm"

The availability of entrance test kits will also be made according to same schedule. Admittance Cards will be issued from Aug 11 to 16 (excluding Aug 14) from 9am to 2pm and entrance test will be held on Aug 31, 2014.

A candidate is required to submit the duly filled application forms by hand with necessary documents at the same centre from where he/she got the kit according to given schedule:

Attested copy of Matriculation Certificate/Result Card or Equivalent, Attested copy of HSSC (FSc Pre-Medical) or Equivalent OR Result awaiting candidates submit the Original ‘Hope Certificate’ issued by the head of their respective institute or college.

Private candidates appeared in HSSC exams to improve their marks this year must provide confirmation on Rs.20/- stamp paper (sample available on www.uhs.edu.pk ).Properly filled Admittance Cards (both copies) with two colour photographs (2.5cm x 2.5cm), attested copy of domicile, three (03) colour photographs (3.5cm x 4.5cm) one (01) attested on front and two (02)attested on the back.

Foreign students have to submit the attested copy of their foreign passport. The Admittance Cards will be provided from the same centre on identified date.
