University of Health Sciences conducted the entry test for admission in government and private medical and dental colleges in Punjab yesterday (Sunday).

MCAT entrance test for admission in Medical and dental colleges were held in 34 examination centres established in 13 different cities of the province in which approximately 47,559 candidates (31,149 female candidates and 16,410 male candidates) appeared.

As per the gratuity, Additional Chief Secretary Syed Mubasher Raza and Health Secretary Jawwad Raffique Malik visited the examination centres at Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education at Lawrence Road as well as University of the Punjab.

In Faisalabad, 4,757 candidates were appeared in MCAT test. Likewise 2,434 candidates were appeared from Sahiwal, 6,783 candidates were appeared from Multan, 2,178 candidates were appeared from Bahawalpur, 1,434 candidates were appeared from Rahim Yar Khan, 1,821 cabdidates were appeared from Sargodha, 5,780 candidates were appeared from Rawalpindi, 624 candidates were appeared from Hassan Abdal, 1,439 candidates were appeared from Gujrat, 2,729 candidates were appeared from Gujranwala, 1,565 candidates were appeared from Sialkot while 1,611 candidates were appeared from DG Khan in MCAT test 2015.

The candidates can submit their admission forms from 1st October to 10th October 2015 in which the applicants could also give their choices for medical colleges. The admission forms as well as the prospectus will be available without any cost during the said dates from University of Health Science Lahore, Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, as well as from Nishtar Medical College, Multan. First list for medical colleges will be displayed on 30th October 2015.

Similar to the previous year’s self-scoring system in the entry test was continued this year. The candidates know their score from the carbon-copy of the answer sheet as well as from the from the answer key. Though, in the next phase of the test only those applicants will be eligible to submit their admission forms who would obtain more than or equal to 82% marks that is according to the formula made by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). University of Health sciences has uploaded the answer key for MCAT test 2015. The students who were appeared in MCAT test can check the answer list below.
