UET offering admission in various PhD disciplines

Lahore: University of Engineering and Technology is offering full time and part time admission in various disciplines of PhD. According to the published advertisement by the officials of university, the varsity if offering admissions in the following disciplines.

1.       Mechanical engineering

2.       Engineering management

3.       Industrial Engineering

4.       Civil Engineering

5.       Electrical engineering

6.       Computer Engineering

7.       Computer Science

8.       Telecom engineering

9.       Software Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

To get admission in the programme, candidates are required to meet the following criteria:

The candidates having Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the related engineering discipline /specialization recognized by the university with minimum CGPA 3.0/04.00 or first division in MSc engineering.

GAT subject conducted by NTS with not less than 60cumulative score. In case of non-availability of above mentioned tests, the locally developed test will be conducted by the departmental committee.

Fully funded Scholarships:

o   Full time PhD Scholarship of Rs 60,000/- per month will be given to the selected candidates for 36 months after registration.

o   On the other hand, the endowment fund scholarship scheme is also available for the above mentioned disciplines at S.No 5to 9.
