Faisalabad, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) will organize 10th International and 22nd National Chemistry Conferences at its Iqbal Auditorium here from November 21 to 23.
A UAF spokesman said that these functions will be held in connection with university golden jubilee celebrations and International Year of Chemistry 2011. The event will be sponsored by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry UAF in collaboration with USDA, Higher Education Commission and the Chemical Society of Pakistan.
He said that the conferences are aimed at bringing chemists, biochemists, agriculturists, environments and eminent scientists with multidisciplinary professional backgrounds to a common platform where they will discuss the issue relating to the role of chemistry in addressing challenges of agriculture, water and climate changes etc.
