TectIQs competition begins at Iqra University

About 800 teams, along with approximately 3,500 participants among them, from the 60 educational institutes are taking part in a four day; annual competition named as the TectIQs, which will begin at Iqra University.

The main iobjective of this national competition is to test the aspirants mentally and physically and is a combination of 45 various competitions divided into different classes, comprising of Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business, Debates, Dramatics, Media, Singing, Fashion, Sports as well as E-Gaining. The competition will also contain with it some general or social events.

The Principal of Iqra University, Dr Mohammad Islam, inaugurated the event, which was followed by the various competitions comprising of the Thief Jack for school children, Hotel Hill Views’ Brain Maniac, Business Case Visual, a poster design competition along with the theme entitled as ‘Education for All’ plus a Futsal tournament.

The students of the Iqra University performed the stage plays in the evening as well as the several stalls were also put up that displayed the handicrafts, jewellery, clothes and the food items as well.
