Charsadda: The reps of the teachers’ association have demanded for a transparent marking system in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Peshawar), Peshawar, annual exams.

For this purpose, a meeting of the association was organized at the Government High School Garhi Hamid Gul which was presided over by the district president Muhammad Nasir Khan.

A noted educationist Professor Sahfiq Ahmed was also present in the meeting. The meeting expressed the concern over the marking and checking of papers in BISE Peshawar board and asked the government to introduce a crystal clear checking system.

They said that the aspirant’s influential private schools received special treatment which was an injustice to the poor aspirants.

They demanded the installation of solar systems in state-run schools to certify the provision of electricity. They also asked the government to offer allowances to teachers during summer vacations.
