Islamabad, The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Federal Board on June 27 announced the SSC Part 2 result 2014 and students of rural areas and the Pakistani embassy in Dubai got top positions in in the result. this year boys beaten girls by getting three positions out of top six. According result statistics, as many as 77,539 students appeared in the exam and 59,899 of them were declared pass with the pass percentage of 77.25. The result cards have been dispatched at respective addresses of students.
In the science group, 1st position went to Hamza Siddique of the Army Public School Bahawalpur by obtaining 1,031 marks out of 1,050. 2nd position taken by Miral Saleem of Fazaia Inter College Lahore, with 1,030 marks, 3rd position clinched by Ammar Khawar of the Army Public School Sargodha with 1029 marks.
In the humanities group, the 1st position clinched by Kulsoom Tariq of Sheikh Rashid Al-Makhtoom Pakistan School, Dubai by obtaining 969 marks, 2nd position went to Moaviya Naseer of the Institute of Islamic Sciences, Satra Meel Islamabad with 968 marks while 3rd position has been grabbed by Hajra Aamir of Quality School, Misrial Road Rawalpindi by getting 958 marks.
The pass percentage of regular students was 90.71. A total of 57420 students took part in the exam and 52084 of them could pass it. as many as 20119 students appeared as private or ex-candidates and 7815 could pass the exams by making pass percentage of 38.84.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Ministry of Education and Professional Training Mohammad Ahsan Raja said that now students show much concerned to education. he said that in future the transparency and impartial way of examination will be improved and Federal Board will become the model for other boards of country.
