Hyderabad, The Sindh Government has allocated 50 acres of land for Sindh University Campus Dadu.
A meeting in this respect was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbas on Wednesday which was attended by the concerned officers from Board of Revenue, a University spokesman informed on Thursday evening.
Deputy Commissioner Dadu, Dr Niaz Ali Abassi, Sindh University Campus Dadu's Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Anwar Ali Shah, Director Estates of the University Muhammad Usman Mangi also attended the meeting; Pro Vice Chancellor of the Campus briefed the meeting about the requirement of land for the construction of Campus building.
He also submitted a request to the Sindh Chief Secretary for release of approved funds for the campus. The Chief Secretary directed the concerned department for immediate release of approved funds for Dadu Campus.
Sindh University Campus Dadu has been established under the commands of President Asif Ali Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has approved an amount of Rs 99.465 million for establishment of the Campus.
