PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak proclaimed government enlightening institutions in the KPK section would be termed after the schoolchildren killed by the Taliban militants in the Army Public School Peshawar on 16th of December.

“The government colleges and schools will be termed  after the departed schoolchildren in the areas they linked to,” he said for the duration of an event held at the KPK Assembly building to grieve the murder of 150 people, counting 134 schoolchildren, precisely a week before.

The event was joined by the treasury and opposition lawgivers and assembly workers.

The Pervez Khattak said his government had officially demanded the federal government to decrease the December 2015 time limit for the repatriation of Afghani citizens.

He said Afghan immigrants living in Pakistan without delay should be sent home.

Later, the chief minister along with his cabinet fellows and the provincial assembly speaker present a candlelight vigil conducted on the assembly’s lawns for the losses of December 16 terrorism.

Invitees wept for the departed, offered prayers for them, and held a candlelight vigil. They also festooned the pictures of the children and teachers killed by activists.

People also wanted that the government guarantee that the APS-like cases don’t occur again.

Moreover in the day, the Peshawar University staffs and students offered prayers for the Army Public School children on campus. They declared the December 16 attack an attempt to finish the country’s future and said the state stood united against terrorists.

Dua and Quran Khawani were also offered for the departed schoolchildren in the commiseration ceremony held at the Madina Mosque of the University of Peshawar.
