Rs 468.98m approved for Women University in KPK

Peshawar: On Wednesday, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University has approved Rs468.986 million as the annual budget of the university for 2017-18.

This budget of the university was approved during the 20th Syndicate meeting of the university organized at the main campus under Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Razia Sultana.

The annual budget of the university is based on a mix of funds increased by the university and aid from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

The syndicate meeting also approved the minutes of the 19th selection board in which numerous appointments were made in BPS 18 to the posts of professors in statistics, microbiology, political science, psychology, law, Urdu, English, Management sciences, Islamiyat, fine arts, maths, physics, along with a deputy registrar as well as an executive engineer.

The syndicate also accepted the minutes of the 8th Academic Council.

A member of the syndicate was designated for the Affiliation Committee of the University plus the list of professionals was also approved for the selection board of varsity.
