Quaid-i-Azam University starts registration for convocation 2013

Islamabad, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad is going to organize 6th General Convocation in the last week of April, 2013.

The university has opened registration for the eligible graduates and has advised to contact the Convocation Secretariat for registration up to March 22, 2013 between 09:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m.

Moreover the candidates can also register themselves by downloading the proforma from the University website and sending to the Convocation Secretariat along with a pay order in favour of the Treasurer, QAU to shelter the registration fee and charges for the guests (if applicable).

The eligible candidates are: Ph.D. Scholars who have completed their degrees within the period from January, 2012 to December, 2012. M.Sc and M.Phil passed out graduates of sessions Spring, 2010 – Fall, 2011 and Fall, 2010, Spring, 2012 (degree completed within four semesters). M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., MD, MS, MDS graduates of the affiliated institutes.

Graduates with first position and fulfilling the conditions will be awarded Chancellor’s Medal/President’s Gold Medal. The positions holders verify their names till March 22, 2013.

The Proforma must be accompanied with the documents required for Registration.

One attested photocopy of the Transcript (DMC), Two attested photocopies of Applicant’s National Identity Card (CNIC) and a photograph, Two attested photocopies of CNIC and a photograph of each accompanying guest, Registration Fee Rs.1500/- per graduate; for the guests Rs.500/- each.

Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced ELTR Sponsored Indigenous Scholarships 2013-14. Last date for submission of application form and fee is March 15, 2013 at 03:00 PM.

The Indigenous Scholarships are available under English Language Teaching Reforms (ELTR) Phase-ll for in-service English teachers of public sector colleges and universities of the country in these programs:
