PU VC orders to tighten the hostels’ security

In association with the latest meeting of vice chancellors about the security problems of the universities, Vice Chancellor of Punjab University Prof. Dr. Mujahid Kamran headed a meeting of all hostel supervisors and administrators here on Thursday at Al Raazi Hall on the orders given by the Government of Punjab. Some other leading personalities were also present at that occasion involving Chairman Hall Council Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhter, Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Makshoof Athar, Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Akhter and Secretary Hall Council Imran Javed. While addressing in the meeting, Dr. Mujahid Kamran issued the strict orders to monitor all the aspirants more carefully and must maintain keep the complete record of guests visiting hostels. During his address, he also said that “there is no space for carelessness in this regard. He also asked the supervisors and administrators to remain in contact and instruct the staff to keep an alert eye on the activities of all the aspirants living in hostels. He added that he would himself visit hostels to check the arrangements of security.
