Lahore, The 122nd convocation of Punjab University is scheduled to be organized on Saturday December 28, 2013 at Faisal Auditorium. For this purpose Prof Dr Harris Rasheed organized a meeting of Punjab University Convocation Coordination Committee in the Committee Room of Centre for Undergraduate Studies. The arrangements for the convocation were discussed in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by the PU Registrar Prof Dr Khan Rass Masood, Dean Faculty of Economics & Management Sciences Prof Dr Ehsan Malik and others faculty members. All the members of sub-committees of the Convocation Committee discussed the functioning of sub committees.
Meanwhile, PU has announced the various exams’ results. The result has been announced of MA Kashmiryat Part 2 annual examination 2013, MA Physical Education Part 2 annual examination 2013, MA Persian Part 2 annual examination 2013, MA Diplomacy & Strategic Studies Part 2 annual examination 2013, MA International Relations Part 2 annual examination 2013 and MSc Space Science Part 2 annual examination 2013.
The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence.
