PU organizes seminar on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan

Lahore (Press Release): Punjab University Oriental College’s Department of Urdu has organized a seminar on “Aligarh Movement and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan”. Giving a detailed lecture on the topic, Aligarh University India’s Prof Dr Abu Sufyan Islahi said that the educational and literary services of Sir Syed encouraged the Muslims of the subcontinent to move forward. He said that his educational and reformist movement deeply affected social life of South Asia. Chairman Department of Urdu Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran, Prof Dr Zahid Munir Amir, Dr Baseera Ambreen and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
