PU organises moot on ‘Role of Media in the Current National Scenario’

Institute of Communication Studies in collaboration with Pakistan National Forum organising the event

Punjab University (PU) Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) in collaboration with the Pakistan National Forum is organising a seminar on “Role of Media in the Current National Scenario” tomorrow (Thursday, September 25) at 11am at the Hameed Nizami Memorial Conference Room.

Former Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Sheikh Riaz Ahmed will be the Chief Guest, while Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will preside over the event. Prominent speakers include Senator SM Zafar, Saleem Bukhari, Prof Dr Mujahid Ali Mansoori, Dr Ajmal Niazi, Khushnood Ali Khan, Attaur Rehman, Mian Habibullah, Saeed Aasi, IA Rehman and Nazir Naji.

The seminar will discuss the role of Media in the country’s current political and social situation, whereas suggestions to enhance the role of media will also be presented.
