Lahore, Punjab University has announced the admission schedule of B.Com. Part 1 and 2 Annual Examinations 2014. According to information university will receive admission forms with single fee for regular students till March 07 (by hand) and Feb 28 (by post) and with double fee till March 13 (by hand) and March 07 (by post).
Private students can submit the forms with single fee till March 19 (by hand) and March 11 (by post) while university will receive forms with double fee till April 01 (by hand) and March 25 (by post).
The date for commencement of B.Com part 1 and part 2 annual exams 2014 will be announced later.
A rally was organized at new campus of PU regarding Kashmir issue on Feb 04. On this occasion PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran said that there is a need to stimulate the young generation regarding Kashmir issue. He addressed to the participants of rally. PU Academic Staff Association President Dr Ehsan Sharif, Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar, Chaudhry Akram, facultyembers and a large number of students were also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, PU Pakistan Study Centre arranged a round table talk on Kashmir matter and Dean Faculty of Arts Prof Dr Massarat Abid addressed on the occasion.
The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence.
