Lahore,The inaugural ceremony of “Gosha-e-Behzad-o-Mani,” an open-air drawing and painting studio, was held at College of Art & Design University of the Punjab Lahore (PUCAD) at old campus. The studio was inaugurated by renowned artist, father-figure of Pakistan art and Professor Emeritus Khalid Iqbal. On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Punjab University Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, College Principal Prof Dr Rahat Naveed Masud, Principal College of Information Technology Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar, faculty members, renowned artists including Zulqarnain Haider, Zarah David, Nazish Ata Ullah, Jameela Zaidi, Dr Mussarrat Hassan, Sania Dar, Faryal Saigol, Quddus Mirza and a large number of art-lovers were also present.
On this occasion, PU VC Prof. Dr Mujahid Kamran said that the place as a valid contribution to the Architectural splendor the Punjab University. He said that an exhibition was also held in memory of Anwar Afzal a pioneer teacher of the College, who died in December 2011.
