Lahore, The results of BS 4-Year Program 2013, First Semester Exams and BS Home Economics Part 1 (Second Year) annual examination 2013 has been announced by Punjab University, Examination Department.

Meanwhile, PU has also announced the written date sheet of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) Final Professional Annual Examination 2013.

PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has initiated newly constructed 12 flats which have been reserved for the employees of lower grade and for 12 more new flats will also be established and on this occasion he laid the foundation stone to facilitate them with residential services. The newly constructed flats are for grade 5 to 10 workers while 6 new flats are reserved for grade 01 to 05 and other 6 flats for grade 05 to 10. These flats have been equipped with 1 or 2 bed rooms, living room, kitchen, bath room(s), store, verandah and lobby. The university employees acknowledged the initiative of Vice Chancellor for bestowing facilities to the lower grade university staffs.

PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran invited the ambassador of Tajikstan, Mr Jononov Sherali at his office. At this occasion the Principal PU College of Information Technology Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar and Mr Nazir Ahmed Peracha were also present. PU VC informed him about the university problems and also talked on several issues.

The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence.
